KidKruger
May be worth considering a converter from one thread up/down to another, to enable you to use modern ballcocks ?Else, replace the ballcock arm for contemporary fitting and your ballcock mismatch issue goes away. ed_pete
Personally I'd buy a new plastic float and some PTFE or maybe duck tape. Wrap a load of tape around the existing thread and then screw in the new float. If that didn't work then I'd resort to some araldite and glue it on. lameduck
Pete my husband bought one jammed it on, the other morning woke up to water coming through ceiling, float. floated off, so it breached the tank, over flow not man enough, still drying out, bought new float and arm, fitted it by putting new arm on the split pin.but my original is better, and stronger, and realistically would like to put backthe same, but no one seems to stock these old balls.
