Has anyone been on holiday to Southern Sardinia - Cagliari airport being the closest airport.

We are wanting to go in August, family of 4 (kids 5 and 3). Not fussed whether self catering with pool or hotel but does need to be reasonably priced (most important thing is pool)

Has anyone got any recommendations.

Thanks in advance

We went a few years back to Aquadulci - http://www.aquadulci.com/

We swore we'd go back when we had kids. Pool and gardens great and it is 2 min walk from the pool to the most magnificent, best family beach we have ever visited - and that is many! It is on Chia bay - long, wide beach and the water is shallow till far out. Beach club where you can rent beds/brollies. Only drawback is that it will be SUPER busy in August.

Yup, we've done Forte, amazing. My brother runs a company with rugby players Will Greenwood and Austin Healey http://www.superskillstravel.com where they basically provide amazing family holidays and all the kids get coached by ex internationals. Went a few years ago which was launch year and was amazing, truly amazing. However quite expensive and so we want to wait until both are over 5 (the minimum age for the rugby training) before we go again so both kids can appreciate it all :)

I do agree though if you have a bit of money spare - you can't beat it - a great holiday

    • You can get a card at the till, though, to get the discount. You don't have to carry it with you (or load it onto your phone), you can just get a different card each time. Not sure what happens if they notice 🤣
    • Yes..that may be the case but membership STARTING at £115 a month is still unafforable for many. Council gyms also have a large range of equipment and I had a  PT at Dulwich leisure centre when I was in Full Time employment who was incredible and even kept in contact during lockdown giving me a program I could do at home and checking in weekly at no charge or personal gain for herself. I dont doubt that Fit For may be a good gym (Its been in situ long enough so must be doing something right) However the cost of membership means it is affordable for the few not the many. If I could afford that kind of fee I would rather get a train to Canary Wharf and go to Virgin active where theres a pool and incredible classes and facilities
    • This sounds great 👍
    • We found a red TREK bike yesterday that had clearly been stolen and dumped. Would love to reunite it with its owner. Get in touch if you know whose it is.
