Female tabby with green eyes, very recently rehomed, has escaped from her room in the house and through the cat flap this morning. May be making her way back to former home in the Hansler/Bawdale/Shawbury area. Had been introduced to other cats in the house, but not to the garden.

Searched Plough Lane, Landells, Goodrich and Barry Rds this morning - please can you keep your eyes open for her.

We think we have found the missing cat, a neighbour spotted a tabby with similiar markings to her this evening. We have just come back from taking a relative home when we spotted a cat on our side gate. Definately looks like our missing one - unfortunately, she does not know us well enough to trust us to catch her. Have left a trail of food in the garden near cat flap - hopefully she will come back into the garden to eat and associate our garden with food. Obviously still within the Barry Road, Plough Lane area. Fingers cross it is the same puss!!!

    • Yes it would be easier, and I give a lot to the hospice shops, but for various reasons there are certain things I prefer to give to Oxfam. However I might go through the books and see if some could be donated more locally.
    • The other side of P13 drivers being risk averse is that I  have been on P13s at night that speeded (?sped?) down Underhill Road so fast I seriously thought they might crash.
    • Some P13 drivers appear very risk averse. I live in Underhill and on that road drivers are forced to back away, often considerable distances, from buses to allow them to pass, even when the bus has an immediate space it could back into. The driver at the time said that buses 'weren't allowed to back'. So reports of cars 'blocking' P13s might mean simply that the car was legally parked but the road too narrow,or the bus driver not prepared to risk advancing. NB some P13 drivers are both skilled and courteous, but not all.
    • I’ve experienced the same in Herne Hill. It’s definitely linked to where there are already marked bays, it prevents you from parking within approx 200-400 metres around the bay. Dulwich Village has quite a few bays, which probably explains why you’ve noticed it there and not elsewhere.
