Our amazing nanny recommendation.

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Our amazing nanny who was with us for 5.5 years is looking for a new role.

She has a special gift when it comes to children, she knows how to make a tricky situation into a calm and manageable one. My son was 6 months old when she started and my daughter was 5, so she has knowledge of the school system and has helped with homework and prepared my daughter for her 7+ exams.

Her approach is very gentle towards the children and she follows a Montessori style which worked well for our family as we wanted our children to have the freedom to explore their own interests. She cooked healthy meals for our whole family and did the children?s laundry, planned day trips out to Legoland, Science Museum and Farms to name a few.

Sadly, my husband was made redundant so we reluctantly had to let her go.

I would recommend her to any loving family - She is qualified in many areas of childcare and child development. Her preferred age range is 0 - 7 years.

Please PM me your details if you would like to be put in touch.

Thanks

Caz

Hello,

As our very beloved nanny is moving out of the area, we are looking for someone to fill her enormous shoes- yet your add seems to have struck a chord!

We would be looking for a full time nanny position for someone to become part of our family - which includes a nearly 5 year old (started reception) , 2.5 year old (started nursery) and 1 week year old.

Would this be of interest to your nanny? Please PM me if so.

    • To be fair, a pot of tea for one in a department store is a small pot, and you only get one cup or mug!
    • I know - we have been here lots of times since it first opened,  which is why we were disappointed that it was closed at a time it was supposed to be open, but with no notice to say why! I guess we will just  have to ask the reason at our next visit, but I'm not sure we will risk Saturday lunchtime again unless we find the closure  was an unavoidable one off ....
    • Nope. I don’t have this wrong. I’ve tried to put my point across respectfully, without resorting to personal, angry insults. And all my colleagues agree that the BBC got this right in its condemnation.    All you see is confirmation bias.    If you don’t realise that, then you’re part of the problem.
    • We have always gone during the week at lunch time - great place and good value. Husband has been several times on his own and owner knows his first name. I could not go one time for some reason and she sent him home with some spring rolls (free)
