FREE - 9 months - 6 years - Axkid Minikid rear facing car seat for children between 9kg and 25kg

Recommended Posts

We are giving away this fantastic rear facing car seat from Axkid, a Swedish company with a passion for child safety on our roads. The seat passes the Swedish plus test meaning it goes above and beyond the required safety standards, making it very safe even at high speeds and over short braking distances. It is a Group 1/2 car seat so suitable from 9 months (9kg) - 6 years though has lasted our child until she is 7 given she is small for her age and was under the 25kg maximum. She has always been very comfortable in it, including on long car journeys, both during the day and at night as it reclines.

Axkid recommend keeping children in rear-facing seats for as long as possible as this is the best way of keeping them safe. Ours have never known anything different so its never bothered them. The updated version of this seat retails for approx ?350 (we paid ?300 in 2017). The seat is in great condition and hasn't been in a crash.

    • As a slight woman in my mid 60's who's an avid walker I find these reports really upsettting and to be honest they put me off the idea of walking around the area for relaxation and pleasure like I used to. Most disturbing is the report of them threatening to kill someones dog and trying to kick it- I'm streetwise having been born and brought up in Notting Hill long before it was gentrified, and I lived in NYC for awhile in the 80's but there was'nt this senseless nastiness attacking and intimidating people for 'sport' that there seems to be now. Not long ago I had two females on a 185 bus just pushing me and cussing me for no reason whatsover-I confronted them about it and they carried on and started threatening to kill me...I honestly have no idea why. probably Just trying to intimidate me..another passenger advised me to get off because he could see they were jabbing me in the side and pushing me around-I did get off and realised I was actually really shaken up and scared they'd followed me. I dont know why there is so much anger and hatred in the world it saddens me.
