You Need a Gas Safe Engineer to disconnect the appliance.


Reason:-


Engineer needs to check that after disconnection the Bayonet connector is is fully seated and sealed.


And should check there are no leaks elsewhere.


The Engineer would normally check for leaks BEFORE disconnection and turn off Gas if one is found.

      I had a similar experience a few years ago when a relative said she had seen a letter that I had sent to a solicitor come up on her iPad.  I don't have any apple devices so it can't have been that our devices were synched.  I tried to find the document on her iPad shortly after and couldn't find it again.  It was very odd and we never got to the bottom of it so if anyone can explain it, I'd be really interested too.
