Gallery Matrix Polished Cast Iron Fire Basket - Free

We have bought a new Matrix Fire Basket and we?d like to re-home our old one.

The attached picture shows what the new one looks like. Although the actual basket in question looks pretty much the same as in the picture, the back plate is a bit discoloured through use. It should be possible to clean it up yourself since these grates can be professionally repolished so it ought also to respond to a bit of heavy elbow grease.

New, the Matrix polished basket costs at least ?290 ? take a look on-line: [https://bit.ly/3hBK30Y]

As it stands it can be used immediately with solid fuel.

If you wanted to, it?s possible to purchase an additional piece of kit which enables it to operate as a gas fire with synthetic pebbles/coals - which is how we used it until the gas feed gave up the ghost. (If it were to be used in this way, then the gas fire fitment costs about ?250 and it would need fitting professionally by a Gas Safe engineer.)

The dimensions are: Depth 300mm, Height 395mm & Width 515 mm, so it needs a fairly wide grate to accommodate it. It?s also worth noting that it?s pretty heavy (cast iron!), when someone comes to pick it up.

Collection: Grove Vale area.

Someone might like it, if so, then it's yours for free.

Please PM me if you?re interested.
