Carpenter recommendations please

Hi everyone

I?ve just moved to the area.

Can anyone recommend any good carpenters to build some shelves and a cupboard for me in the alcoves in my sitting room on either side of my fireplace? I also need shelves built in my hallway and under the stairs. I would like floating shelves.

I?d like recommendations from people who have ideal had work done themselves.

  In my experience, many deliveries are just left on the doorstep without bothering to ring the bell, so you may be in but have no idea there has been a delivery. And some couriers require you to state a "safe place". I don't have one.

  Thanks. Did you find a suitable place in ED for your Christmas lunch? Sorry for my silly post above. I'm guessing quite a few of the pubs might be doing something, but I don't know. You could try googling?
