Long story short, whilst our property was managed by an estate agent they bought this instead of the washer/dryer combined model we had asked for- but our flat being on the smaller side needs a combined washer dryer.

This was purchased less than two years ago, still perfectly functional, with no problems. Great reviews on John Lewis link below. RRP ~?500, selling for ?100.

We have a new washer/dryer arriving, and being installed on the 26th July, so would be looking for someone to collect tomorrow or over the weekend.

More than happy if you are interested to have you come around and see it whilst it is plugged in and functional, but please serious buyers only. Collection near Tessa Jowell Health Centre.

    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
