Herne Hill family searching for a live-out?nanny?for our 9 year-old daughter and 7 year-old son as our current?nanny?is leaving us after 3 years to spend more time on her art projects. Hours are 2:00pm - 8:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with occasional evening babysitting and the potential for additional hours/days during the school holidays. Start date is Thursday 12th August to allow some time getting to know the children before school restarts in September.?

Duties include meal prep upon arrival, collecting the children from school, taking them to after school activities, cooking their evening meal and putting them to bed. We'd also like you to help with the children's washing and guide them to clean up after themselves.

Our children are active and enjoy their outdoor time, they are keen on cycling, scooting, gymnastics and tennis.? They enjoy imaginative games, art and crafting.? Our son is very chatty and outgoing whilst our daughter can be a little shy at first, but both are cheeky and loving once you get to know them.

The ideal candidate would be a confident cook who is keen to have fun with the children, but can be firm when limits are being tested.? We require that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If you think you could be right for the post please email your CV to [email protected]

    • We've been getting almost regular deliveries to the Gardens/ Kelmore grove again. It was awful at one point 6 months back. I suppose it's hit and miss depending on where you are. Our sorting office is Peckham.
    • Light blue kid's coat found on Goodrich Road.
    • Yup. At best I have people who detest Trump shrugging and saying something like “what ya gonna do?” Like that is any kind of answer what we gonna do is condemn, and watch out for same happening here - and watch out for all the handmaidens who would allow this to happen.  Apologists for Farage, Jenrick etc
    • There are plenty of Jewish people on these marches, who have every right to stand up and say not in our name. A Jewish bloc attends every single one: https://jfjfp.com/voices/jjp-at-the-gaza-demonstrations/ Jewish peoples lives are being made less safe by this war, as we recently saw in Manchester and in the clear increase in antisemitism. They want to see Peace, and this will only happen with justice for the Palestinians. Most have - within living memory - members of their families who have been murdered by an authoritarian regime. They know what they are seeing and why they are marching. Calling going on march 'indulging in Jew hatred' is just ridiculous. You've clearly never been on one. Engage your critical faculties and think about why these marches are being smeared, rather than spouting what the right wing press and home secretary tell you.
