High pitched whistling sound Lordship Lane / Crawthew Grove / Spurling Road triangle

There's been a high pitched whistling sound coming from somewhere inside the triangular block of roads near Goose Green; Lordship Lane / Crawthew Grove / Spurling Road.

It's been going on and off, every few minutes, day and night for the last few months

It's driving us crazy!

Anyone in the surrounding properties know what it is / where it's coming from?

If you knocked on doors you could cover that block in half an hour - see who else hears it/get a better fix on it.

Possibly some kind of bird deterrent? We've had a similar problem where we live (near Dulwich Library) for several months, although it doesn't seem as loud as it used to be.

It might be my tinnitus. 24/7.

It sounds more like something related to air-conditioning or water pipe related, the pitch changes just as it ends, almost like a valve is closing.
