Are you saying that this is an overdevelopment as you feel that Lordship Lane is being over developed. Or is it an over development as it's being developed over Lordship Lane? If it's the former, then the title should be changed to "development" as "overdevelopment" is just an opinion.

ed - overdevelopment is a concept that planning authorities use and Southwark rejected this application on the grounds that it's massing and height was out of scale with neighboroughing properties .

"The proposed development would disrupt the established urban pattern of

development and relate poorly to the host building and the adjacent

cinema building, being of a massing and height that overwhelms the

prevailing scale of the local context."

    • We’re pretty much down to just sparrows, wood pigeons and the occasional great tit.  Plus parakeets, but I chase them away.    A couple of years ago we had bluetits, robins, blackbirds & goldfinches most days, but almost never now despite washing out the bird bath most days & decent regular bird seed & fat balls.  we have had a couple of sparrow hawks which was exciting, but I’d rather have the goldfinches..  v sad.
    • My garden has been completely empty of birds since I took down my bird feeders (I have to sort out the garden before I put them up again in a different spot.Cats were sitting in wait).
    • You need to book I think? We couldn't get a table when we tried!
