Hi, just to say my 8 year old son has just spent the most magical two weeks at Nimble Arts. He?s tried lots of other holiday clubs, but this is the absolute best hands down. Today they learnt about forensic science from an actual forensic scientist, DNA, fingerprinting and solved a mystery. He?s made hot air balloons, haunted houses and learnt magic tricks whilst learning and playing lots of new games - wink murder anyone?

The staff are committed and experienced, with lots of the same helpers that know and remember the kids and treat them as adults. And there?s a film club at the end of every day.

Any how, if anyone is looking for a fun and varied experience for their kids, I highly recommend.

I second this - Nimble Arts is FAB and the best club locally - my sons have been from age 4-11 yrs and always ask when they're going back - it's basically a real life Blue Peter set, with everything fun (and some learning) from exotic animals to magic and mystery.

They also have a bouncy castle and do loads of games, as well as art and crafts.

Supervisors all have experience working with children and a few are teachers, so they are used to working with all ages of primary.

Movie club runs 5-6pm with popcorn for late pick up (to 6.30pm!).

Runs daily in holidays from 8am-6.30pm so super convenient for working parents.

    • some titles are "protected" ie you have to have certain qualifications and be registered with the supervising council https://www.hcpc-uk.org/about-us/who-we-regulate/the-professions/ Dietician is registered and protected Nutricionist is neither. Anyone can claim to be a nutricionist or chiropracter etc
    • It didn't occur to me to ask. No idea if dieticians are employed within the NHS. It is just one line of enquiry among others. The GP mentioned it, not me.
    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
