South Africans are awakening to news of Blade Runner Oscar Pistorius shooting dead his girlfriend in the head, who said romance was dead?


Girls you better run because Oscar's going to come bouncing in blades a burning.


Not being morbid and it's tragic a country I'd still love to live in despite it's dangers.


I fear however that not all is as it seems? Has his home no alarm, no physical security I bet it has. It's reported he had a volatile relationship 'no $hit'. A valentines day massacre for sure very sad.

      Just had a fine lunch at Franklins and can confirm that it's soon to be sold and will have a minor refurbishment before reopening, probably as The Victory, which was its original name, I think.

      The https://www.carcheck.co.uk/  history service is free, which is just as well given that it's freely available from DVSA* at https://www.gov.uk/transport/mots.  Carcheck do provide some additional general info as well, and have even beaten DVSA to getting the 2027 MOT record up. There is a .car top-level domain  (just as this forum's top-level domain is .uk)  but any mention of gov anywhere before it -- like  mot.records.gov.car --  would suggest it's owned by someone who wants to fool users into believing that it's an official government website, which it isn't.  It doesn't end  in gov.uk * There's also a link from a DVLA Tax/MOT check results page
