We are getting to the point where we cannot keep on top of our garden maintenance due to age and mobility. All our beds had waterproof membrane and small pebbles put over then to depress weeds but as the years have progressed we have found weeds are growing and increasing.Weed killer (various makes) appear not to work. We do not have grass in the garden but several areas of paving stones. We have big make over yearly (3/4 people who spend a day doing both front and back gardens - cutting back shrubs etc) Other wise we have the occasional person weeding the paved areas.

Ideally we would like all the pebbled areas paved/concreted over, paths resurfaced and made even/safe. We wish to increase our use of plant containers in the back garden and would love a raised area for veg/fruit growing.

Not sure what the best time of year is to do a garden make over, but we are waiting until the autumn to a have a couple of trees pollarded. We also need a shed replaced with a smaller version (We saw one in B & Q and were told to order on line - went to do this and found they would not deliver to SE22)

Can anyone recommend a gardener/landscaper?
