After school nanny needed in North Dulwich

Hi, we're a family living between North Dulwich station and Sunray gardens with two girls (5y and 2y), both attending local school/nursery full-time. Our 5y old is extremely sociable, empathetic, imaginative and cautious. She loves playing outdoors, role-playing, reading as well as arts and crafts. Our 2y old is adventurous, playful and energetic. She loves puzzles, being read to, playing outdoors and challenging herself physically (requires a relatively more watchful eye as she's at a stage where she's exploring her capabilities!). They generally play well together and enjoy each other's company.

We would like help with mostly school pick-up and care. What's important to us is the right person so we can be somewhat flexible with hours/times/responsibilities and start date. We would consider giving more hours if required. We're hoping to find a warm, caring individual with lots of energy to stimulate the children and support them with all-around growth. We need a first-aid trained non-smoker with fluent english, an up-to-date DBS form and references.

Please DM if you are interested!

    • I'd try the Dulwich Village or "North Dulwich Triangle" forums for more local knowledge but I don't think those areas compare to Abeville Road at all. It will be quite a different lifestyle.
    • Yes, Dulwich Village commands a premium and justifiably so given access to the City via London Bridge plus the top rate schools within walking distance.  The bus services are really good also - 37, 42 and P4. The P4 is useful for connecting to the Victoria line at Brixton. It's worthwhile waiting for the right property. I know of one which will be coming on the market in a few weeks - 4 bedrooms and south facing garden circa £2.5m.
    • This is an utterly foolish and alarmist statement, completely at odds with reality.
    • I realise this is highly unlikely, but if anyone has a colour laser printer in very good working order, I'd be delighted to take it off your hands!
