Family house to rent on Peckham Rye

The sale of our lovely 4 bedroom house on Peckham Rye has just fallen through and I cannot bear to go through the whole rigmarole of trying to find another (honest) buyer, particularly in the current market. (Why, oh why, are buyers in England not required to put down a deposit??)

We are therefore looking for a family which wants to rent a modern 4 bedroom house, with patio garden, garage and parking. The house is in Austin?s Court, a friendly gated community, overlooking Peckham Rye common, with the Rye Hotel immediately opposite. We cannot rent to sharers (unfortunately) because the kitchen is open plan and would not pass the HMO requirements.

Hi there

We are currently waiting for our house purchase to go through in Crystal Palace, but the chain is incomplete and shows no sign of completing any time soon. We are currently living outside of London with family, but both myself and my husband are due back in the office this month and next. We need to be back in London. We have a toddler and another on the way and we are just looking to restart our lives in London after living with my parents since February. We are realistic about our house purchase and realise that it may not ever go through. We are looking for a short term rental with the view to make it longer if it all falls through.
