Antique wardrobe available for free

Antique wardrobe (late 1700s I believe) originally bought at an antique auction for circa ?600. Being given away for free as making space for a nursery, but collection from SE22 at buyer?s cost and own arrangement. We have been using it as a linen cupboard. Dimensions: width 88 cm, height 200 cm, depth 55 cm.

The door is missing a wooden piece which means it will need some minor work from a handyman to ensure the doors shut properly.

It?s a lovely piece and we are sad to see it go but with all our new baby?s things there is just no space for it in our home.

  Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
- Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

  Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
