After much hide-&-seek things are heating up for our Andy

So given this whole thing isn?t going to go away, shouldn?t ?they? just pay her off and get this over with?

How they didn?t do this in the first place, we?ll never know. I suppose arrogance and the word of a Prince against a regular person was deemed defence enough, but she?s turned out to be somewhat more tenacious than HRH had bargained for.

Then that interview with Emily Matis pretty well put Andy deeper in the firing line (honestly, what the fcuk was he thinking) and doubt has been cast over his version of things.

Lastly, he?s not doing the whole ?monarchy? thing much good.

Option B.

We should give them all the elbow.

He?s not everyone?s favourite is he.

And it looks like they?re trying to wriggle some kind of technicality via the courts in the US.

Possibly the most unsavoury situation the RF have found themselves in for a long time, and a difficult one too. In the death they could easily just pay her off, but then the other side will splash that in some way. Even if her lawyers said ? we?re dropping the case? there?s the obvious suspicion that they?ve been paid off/ settled by the RF.

Yet if he continues to fight it, then the stench just gets worse. So ultimately it?s drip drip corrosive on the monarchy?s rep.

Sooooooo?..

After a making a ham fist of the whole situation, Andrew has finally snapped his own dick off and seen sense. Who knows what member of the RF finally got through to him, to make him see how things were looking outside of his bubble, but holy moly it?s been painful to watch.

The document submitted to a US court read: ?Virginia Giuffre and Prince Andrew have reached an out-of-court settlement. The parties will file a stipulated dismissal upon Ms Giuffre?s receipt of the settlement (the sum of which is not being disclosed).

?Prince Andrew intends to make a substantial donation to Ms Giuffre?s charity in support of victims? rights. Prince Andrew has never intended to malign Ms Giuffre?s character, and he accepts that she has suffered both as an established victim of abuse and as a result of unfair public attacks.

?It is known that Jeffrey Epstein trafficked countless young girls over many years. Prince Andrew regrets his association with Epstein, and commends the bravery of Ms Giuffre and other survivors in standing up for themselves and others.

?He pledges to demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein by supporting the fight against the evils of sex trafficking, and by supporting its victims.?

And maybe we?ll get a Part 2: Emily Maitlis BBC interview and Andrew can explain the whole story end to end. But somehow, I doubt it. He?s most likely going to be locked in the Tower of London for his own personal well-being. And to be less of a public liability to the Royal Family.

However, the damage he?s caused is huge, I?m amazed it got this far.

Good performance by VG and her team.

Lisa Bloom, an attorney representing eight victims of Jeffrey Epstein, said in a statement: "We hail Virginia?s victory today. She has accomplished what no one else could: getting Prince Andrew to stop his nonsense and side with sexual abuse victims. We salute Virginia?s stunning courage."

Maybe Andrew can celebrate with a pizza, sitting sharing with his Mum.

He can cuddle up with his vast collection of teddy bears for solace.

Yeah he finally admits his guilt and shame by making a substantial settlement payment, probably from the Royal Estate, oh that's us the Tax Payer, so we have to pay for his misdemeanours.

Locking away in the Tower of London is far too good for Andrew, I can think of a far better punishment than that for him.

He?s not in any way ashamed, don?t think that. Only he?s been caught out and made to pay.

Everything he does from here on in, is because of conditions and obligations of the case and the agreement to settle.

But his way is one of entitlement, of which he?s conditioned in part by his position, and in part by nature of his character.

He?s loathsome, the type of man that no one wants to be.

But the Royal Family are ashamed of him, and culpable.

It?s a bargain. Johnson spent 56 million on a garden bridge that never happened. And squillions on the duffness of Brexit.

Say ?12,000,000,000 now, seems like pittance.

Good riddance Andrew.

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
