Curtain Alteration Needed

Hello there,

We bought some second hand curtains for our bedroom yesterday because the fabric is ideal and they are excellent quality. Unfortunately they are not wide enough for our bay window. They are very generous in width, but have a triple pleat that reduces the width at the top.

Is there anyone who could offer a service in which to alter the pleat to increase the width to the correct measurement?

Please pm as soon as you can, as otherwise we will have to take them back.

Thanks!

hi Johnie

RE your curtains that you are looking to have re-modelled to fit your bay window, we understand what you are saying about the pleats, we can try to make an adjustment to them,(might show a faded area though when unfolded?) or alternatively we could add a complimentary border edge to the sides to increase the width. We are experts in curtain making of all types, so if you would like to give us a call, we will do our best to help you!

also sending you a PM in case you don't see this

    • Massive thank you to Stephen. Painted our whole house - and got lots of other bits sorted, too. Nothing was too much trouble, everything looks great and all came in on quote. Fantastic. Liverpool fan, but don’t hold that against him. Will 100% use again.  Massive thank you to Stephen. Painted our whole house - and got lots of other bits sorted, too. • Sadly crime does seem to be going up in terms of opportunists and street crime / bike thefts etc. Lack of CCTV in this area means it's more of a target than some neighbouring areas according to police (when they sent victim support round after our car had its catalytic converter stolen twice in 6 months by organised gang complete with balaclavas, iron bars and a chainsaw.. driving a 4x4). Crime still relatively low by some parts of London standards but a worrying trend if burglars are trying their luck when people are actually home. Wonder what local police/ MP thoughts are in terms of whether they could organise more community policing patrols. I read a woman was punched in the face on/near Lordship Lane in an unprovoked attack a week or two ago. Terrifying.
