The single best thing we discovered while researching this article. The Gnomes of Dulwich was ? quite, quite brilliantly ? about some garden gnomes living in Dulwich. One of them was played by Terry Scott, of Terry and June fame, while the show was written by Jimmy Perry, who also helped create Dad?s Army.

Sadly, tapes of The Gnomes of Dulwich were wiped, and no copies are known to exist. Which is a shame, as that concept sounds amazing.
