Anyone used the big damp companies, eg Peter Cox etc?

Hello, I just wondered if anyone has used the big companies for damp.. Google suggests a mix bag, with some people saying it?s patchy service and a bit of a stitch up and some leaving glowing reviews! I?d sort of just like a good reputable firm to come and do the work. Has anyone used a good damp company recently for a bit of damp?!

I would recommend anybody considering having don?t work undertaken on the property to 1st look on YouTube at the numerous clips posted by Peter Ward.

This bloke demystifies all the mumbo-jumbo, takes it back to basics, and often demonstrate how facile and incompetent many damp ?specialists? can be.

On the same topic, can anyone recommend a brickwork specialist who will use lime mortar? I think we need all of our cement pointing removed and replaced with lime.

I haven?t, but also looking to get someone in to sort out damp in our kitchen. Did you have any success with finding a company madger?
