Bought off the EDF some years ago as spare room bed. Purchased an Ikea topper for it. Old with signs of wear on the base but still very comfortable - can send photos if interested, product is linked here (minus its legs, which are short but which it has!) https://www.productreview.com.au/listings/ikea-sultan-sturefors

Discontinued product from Ikea

Am going to send to Southwark recycling centre but putting it one here first on the off-chance someone does want it. Will need a van for collection but very welcome to come try it out before deciding. Only getting rid of it to make way for a nursery, as said, still very comfortable.

Photos and dimensions

140cm x 200cm width x length

Bed base plus legs (as in photo) is 43cm high

Underbed clearance approx 20cm

Mattress topper 140 x 200 x approx 8cm (so the total bed height from floor is about 50cm) Removable zip cover can be washed.

Photos show wear on sides from being transported and moved up stairs, and a mark on the mattress/base from previous owners. Keen to get it out the house or arrange collection by Southwark so if those interest decide they do want/would like to view it please do let me know!

    • Hi everyone,  Our daughter is starting reception at Harris Primary in September. I'm trying to track down other parents with Harris reception kids so I can arrange a class get together in advance. Harris have not set up any Whatsapp group etc before the start of term and say this is not possible, which seems different to what other schools in the area are doing. My daughter doesn't know anyone else starting at Harris and is feeling sad about leaving her nursery friends, so would love to start meeting other people and reassuring her about the great friends she'll make very soon!  Many thanks  Isabel
    • CPR is right - I was shocked when I discovered how much of our CO2 emissions are down to cats and dogs, what with pet food manufacturing, them shitting everywhere, plastic poo bags etc they are not environmentally friendly at all.  I don't know what we'd do without our dog - it would leave a massive hole in our lives and it's so valuable for children to grow up with pets - but at the same time, I feel bad about it every day.
