Hi,

What are you up to Monday Lunchtime? Would you love some movement in your life after the weekend?

If the answer is yes, come and join me every Monday at 12.00 till 13.00 in Station Hall, above Herne Hill Train Station for an hour of Pilates Mat Class.

My name is Claire Eade and my Pilates company is called Pilateades, I teach weekly Mat classes on zoom and now from Monday 8th November in Herne Hill. I am also an NHS Nurse working part time in Accident and Emergency.

My classes are all abilities, if you have never tried Pilates come along and see if you like it, first class is free :)

Pilates is a great exercise to build and strengthen muscles especially in your abdomen and buttocks. It increases flexibility through your joints aiding to an improved posture. Over the space of 2 months I have seen a clients posture improve. She had tight, flexed hips and rolled shoulders, now her body is in a better alignment, with her shoulders correctly aligned on her back, with her hips stronger and not as tight.

Your first class is free and then it is ?12 a session or ?10 per session, if you were to buy a block of 10. Call or message me on 07814 208669 to book your space.

Each class will be a maximum of 10 people, bring your own mat and the hall is spacious enough for you to spread out.

I am bring a sense of fun to each class, making exercise more enjoyable and hope you leave feeling s sense of achievement and awesome in yourself.

If you would like to join my class on zoom, this is every Thursday 20.15 and ?6 per class. To join, book through the link below:

    • There's quite a difference between going for a run around the footpaths and trying to sit quietly for an afternoon in a wide, grassy area and enjoying the peace & nature. The other two grassy areas in the park are used for sports, and both had barriered trackway running through them. The Parkrun had to be cancelled for at least three weeks, iirc. I'm concerned by your continued reference to "the rye" - the event is held in the park, not on the rye (common). There is a big difference, despite the organisers and council artificially amalgamating the whole area when trying to convince everyone that it's only a small area that is closed off. The railings & gates enclosing the park are a big clue...
    • So have you cancelled your contract with InPost / Yodel now? If so, that's probably caused hundreds of parcels to be stuck in limbo, as they've said to me before that they can't redirect them to a different store. I have a parcel that was refused by you twice, the last time on 5/12, and since then there's been no updates, despite me calling them 3 times. They just say it's being investigated, but if they now can't physically deliver to you then that is obviously the issue. So much for shopping for Christmas presents early, looks like I'll never get them now.
    • I thought I noticed the shop being redecorated the other day when I passed. Also the old Romeo Jones had some works going on, I think
    • Leon came to sort out a lighting issue for us last week.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave clear, detailed advice about how to avoid in future.  Would highly recommend him.
