Family Carol Singalong

Recommended Posts

Link Age Southwark's annual Family Carol Singalong is back! We are delighted to hold this special event with St Barnabas Church in Dulwich once again.

Join us on Sunday 12 December at 3.30pm for an hour of your favourite Christmas carols, accompanied by mince pies, mulled wine and soft drinks. Invite your friends, family and your neighbours - all ages and singing abilities are welcome!

There is no entry fee, we simply ask you to consider making a donation to Link Age Southwark if you can. A retiring collection will be available at the end of the singalong and we appreciate any donation towards our work, big or small.

    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first? Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
