Two bedroom maisonette available for short term let on the Dawson?s Heights estate in East Dulwich available for 4 weeks from the 13th Jan - 10th Feb. Located on the ground and first floor, the flat is light and bright and will come fully furnished. The front door is on the first floor via an entrance lobby with storage space for coats, shoes and bikes. There is a south-facing spacious living and dining room which has two sofas (one of which converts into a bed) and a large TV with Netflix and fast Wifi. Off the living room is a separate kitchen with a private balcony. The kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric oven and gas hobs.


There are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed, shelves, dressing table and chest of drawers. The other one is a children's room so currently has two single bunkbeds although this can be changed to two single beds if required. Small bathroom with rainforest shower, sink, toilet and heated towel rail. The flat has its own entrance on the ground floor as well for easy access to the communal gardens and Overhill Road. Dawson?s Heights occupies a fantastic location in East Dulwich. It is a short walk to the independent shops, pubs and restaurants of Lordship Lane. The estate is ideal for families, it's surrounded by parks and is a friendly and neighbourly place to live.

    • But all those examples sell a wide variety of things,  and mostly they are well spread out along Lordship Lane. These two shops both sell one very specific thing, albeit in different flavours, and are just across the road from each other. I don't think you can compare the distribution of shops in Roman times to the distribution of shops in Lordship Lane in the twenty first century. Well, you can, but it doesn't feel very appropriate. Haa anybody asked the first shop how they feel? Are they happy about the "healthy competition" ?
