Excellent decorating done in Honor Oak Park

Two thumbs up for Hussein from Al-Hanoushka Decorating, we are really pleased with the job done painting our 3 bed maisonette flat in Honor Oak Park. Four rooms and hall, two stairways and landings walls and ceilings. It was a big job and it was done professionally and quickly allowing us to move in when we wanted. The lines are neat and the coats are uniform. Hussein gave us a great quote after we were recommended him by our friends who had their house painted in Queens Road Peckham, and he communicated well and did the work when he said he would and cleaned up after himself. Highly recommended.

  Maybe if I write to the council to suggest a better PLO presence and show them this photo, they'll take me seriously (this was from the first incident and there were about ten other kids down on the ground next to the cafe). Perhaps the police and SNT have been in touch with the council already. But not long after one of these guys lobbed a bottle off the roof, a four year old child went past on a bicycle.

  I agree, the people in the park office seem to be invisible. Quite why we need a park office I am not sure. Perhaps it is to do with all the maintenance and upkeep for which there will be organisation and admin. It may be expensive but I do think funding some sort of regular park safety oversight should be a priority. Southwark to want young people to use the park, as do we all, but there probably does need to be some sort of supervision for everyone's sake.

  The big difference, other than increasingly flaking paint, seems to be graffiti. The question is, will that/ can it be controlled?
