Lovely 'Man with a Van'

I've just used a 'man with a van', Peter, to move various bits of furniture around the area (buying and selling). I found his number on the forum recommended by someone (although now can't find it), as would like to reiterate what a great guy he was. He was friendly, polite, flexible and keen not to drag furniture and didn't mark newly painted walls, despite moving a double bed and two 2metre shelving units up and down narrow staircases.

  Good riddance if McAsh has defected from Labour. In his tenure he introduced a lot of crazy street and road schemes which have been inflicted on the residents of Southwark and beyond! I expect the Green Party will welcome him with open arms.

  If people have to let loud fireworks off then why do it late at night? That’s the bit I don’t understand. I heard them up until gone 11pm last night. Really feel for the wildlife as well as for people who have to be up early for work.
