'Old fashioned' Biscuits.

Friends and I got talking about food items rarely seen now - and discussed where we maybe able to find Lemon Puffs and Bath Oliver Biscuits. I have looked in Co Op, Sainsbury's, Marks and a couple of independent stores. Have found lemon wafers but not puffs. Was surprised to find in Co Op - Abernathy Biscuits which I had not seen for years.

We got some lemon puffs on one of our 'lockdown' walks last year in the small paper/general store just past Goose Green going towards Peckham Rye.

There are Lemon Puffs in Centra Stores on Underhill/Hindmans.

I know, I got them to start carrying them for me.

HOWEVER they are not the sticky ones I remember from my early days - no, these ones are dry-coated, but I?ll take what I can get ! 🍪

Yes, we're back on the lemon puffs since finding them on a lockdown walk ? not quite the same but very close... and Abernethys are the best but a bit too moreish. I still like a garibaldi : )
