Birth preparation coaching - Csection specialist

Recommended Posts

Hello EDF, I am Abigail and am based in Melbourne Grove in ED. I am a fully qualified and accredited Hypnotherapist and Coach. I help women due to have a c-section to release their fear, find acceptance and empower them to unlock the positive birth experience they are meant to have.

I'd planned a natural birth. I was hoping for candles and a super zen birthing experience with soft music, a soft mist from my diffuser and a totally intuitive experience where I listened to my body and reacted naturally....

...but that didn't happen. I had to have a csection in the end because my baby was positioned in such a way that a vaginal birth wouldn't be safe.

I was so disappointed. Crushed actually. And I felt I would be judged. I hated it and flinched when the doctors or midwives said "planned caesarean" like it had been part of my plan... I felt angry and scared.

Did you know that in the UK up to 1/3 of births now result in a c-section either through choice or through medical necessity? Due to the volume of these births the stigma is definitely changing but that doesn't necessarily make it easier for us to come to terms with it.

So if you're struggling, want to let go of your disappointment, want to move on and approach your new birth with positivity and confidence get in touch!

Drop me a DM to see how my combination of hypnotherapy and coaching can quickly and easily get you in exactly the right frame of mind ahead of the positive birth experience you are meant to have.

    • We would like your views on proposals to expand the Superloop network with new route SL15 between Clapham Junction and Eltham in south London. By clicking on each of the buttons below, you can read more about what is proposed and how this may impact you. You can also view maps, ask questions, give feedback, and find out about other ways to get in touch and take part. You have until Sunday 30 November 2025 to give us your feedback. Proposals The SL15 would run between Clapham Junction and Eltham stations, via Tulse Hill and Catford, and would primarily follow the A205 South Circular Road. The following map shows proposed new route SL15 in its entirety. Also see the 'Proposed timings and bus stops' section below. The SL15 would operate as an express bus service. It would serve a limited number of key bus stops, including eight rail interchanges, local town centres and other busy locations along its proposed route. As part of the Superloop family the SL15 service would be frequent, simple, inclusive and reliable. At Clapham Junction, the route would start and end at Falcon Road. In Eltham, it would start and end at Eltham Station after serving the High Street.   https://ehq-production-europe.s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/ce32459998ce01d44ce27d1f23c543bd84338c82/original/1759936980/3bc1b1bf3ec42ce77542fa4ddd82c87a_sl15-bus-stop-list.pdf?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Credential=AKIA4KKNQAKIJHZMYNPA%2F20251020%2Feu-west-1%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20251020T144535Z&X-Amz-Expires=300&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&X-Amz-Signature=14b917ef1198ddc641578b5a6648b00842f4e1d51aceadb3f4e1c928d0688b12 https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/sl15-superloop
