Help The Homeless

Variouscauses

Recommended Posts

It?s cold outside and I have seen a number of Homeless people around London and have decided that we can do something about it. All they want is a night in a warm place with a meal and to feel safe.

There are many B&B and Hotel Rooms that are empty that they could stay in for warmth, shelter and a nice hot meal. I am trying to raise money to help this happen along with other causes in the future.

Yes there are many homeless charities such as Mungo however they require a minimum of ?25, GoFundMe ask for a minimum of ?5. In current climates with the increase on Living expenses some simply can?t afford the Mungo minimum. We can still make a difference with as little as ?5 (that?s the equivalent to a chicken chow mein, less than a pint down the Lane)

If everybody that reads this message donates I am sure we can help someone and make them happy.

Thank you in advance https://gofund.me/855cdeb0

    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
