I am looking for recommendations for dentists in Dulwich who will focus on saving teeth. The dentists in my current practice change frequently and there seems to be an increasing focus on extracting teeth and recommending expensive treatments (e.g. implant ?2k). Two people in my family have had extractions recommended when another dentist has been able to save the tooth. The problem is that you never know who you are going to see in the practice.

Any recommendations welcome.

Many thanks. I am also looking at a private practice in central London, which offers free one off consultations on specific issues.

I think that some local dentists do accept NHS patients but then focus on getting people to pay for non-NHS services. This makes it difficult to trust what you are being advised to do, as it may be financial rather than professional!

Just noting that it is actually me who is looking and not my children.

    • Went to a fireworks display maybe 20 years ago at the Crystal Palace, it wasn't bonfire night, can't remember why it was being held, Capital Radio were there. There were people hanging from a crane, classical music, and quiet fireworks,  It was lovely, still dramatic with the colours but no loud bangs. Not sure why this hasn't become the norm.
