Plumber or similar for excavating and replacing outside water mains

Hello, we need to get our water main running under the front garden replaced or repaired due to a diagnosed leak. Does anybody have any plumber/company recommendations for this work? Needs to be done relatively soon. Thanks!

You?ll probably have to deal with 2x contractors or use a building firm that?ll own the entire job.

Had a similar issue a couple of years ago - plumbers would do the work once access to the water main has been provided for them. Did it myself in the end - used a Johnson fitting to join lead pipe after I?d cut leaking section out.
