Car park fine question

We drove into a car park (Euro Car Parks) in Rye & I (the driver) waited in the car for about 10 minutes while my partner went to check if there was a market on that day. As there wasn?t, we left the car park. I didn?t buy a ticket and have now got a ?100 fine - can I appeal as I did not leave my car?

What type of notice is it? What specifically does it allege?

I challenged a fine under the same circumstances, I claimed I was not 'parked' as I didn't leave the car (and for all they know the engine was running) and was waiting for my partner. I was successful... This was in the Somerfield car park in Camberwell a couple of years ago. It's definately worth having a go at, good luck.
