NOW GONE XL tall bamboo plants in recycled oil drum planters. Instant impact! Brilliant screening.

Recommended Posts

NOW GONE 6 x healthy, tall bamboo plants, ready planted in oil drums. Over 3 m tall. Planted using specialist compost into upcycled oil drums, which had been used to transport juice (so food grade & not a drop of oil in sight!).

All drums are green but could be spray painted to a colour of your choice. They have some labels remaining on them from their transport days and some knocks & grazes as you'd expect on a recycled product. They have drainage holes punched in the bottom.

Very heavy! Buyer to collect from Beckenham. Will sell individually. ?90 each. Or make me an offer.

    • Thanks for these responses. Yes, Cllr Browning & Cllr Hartley did a door-knocking exercise a couple of months ago. It was Maggie Browning who knocked and I told her that I'd had radio silence from Jon Hartley. She looked embarrassed but not surprised. I have spoken to him since, only after writting to Ellie Reeves, our MP about it his lack of response. He agreed to address the issue I asked about but I've not heard from him since. It's really not acceptable for an elected Councillor to consistently ignore his ward constituents. Since it's clearly not a one-off, I'm gonna pick this up formally. I'll let you know how I get on...
    • If memory serves, Labour under Corbyn got more electoral  votes than Labour under Starmer. So I'm not sure how you can call that being "unelectable"? Under a different and fairer electoral system Labour would have won. I see moves are afoot to bring in such a different, fairer system, presumably in the hopes of stopping Reform winning next time. BTW there was a mass exodus from Labour  by  the local (East Dulwich) Labour party members when Corbyn was kicked out by Starmer. It isn't just Islington who doesn't want to support  a right or centre right Labour party.
    • Is this the new shop next to Dulwich Tandoori? is it actually open and if so has anyone tried them.
    • It was The Brickhouse - we liked them and it was very sad when they had to close
