AC1964
Friends visiting this afternoon and we?d like to go out for a pint but none of us are interested in rugby and just fancy a few quiet ones somewhere that isn?t likely to be absolutely rammed? Any suggestions? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/304999-any-pubs-in-the-area-not-showing-rugby-this-afternoon/ Share on other sites
Dogkennelhillbilly
It's a nice day so anywhere with an outside area will be fine. Crown and Greyhound's idea of showing sport is having a 12" Ferguson CRT mounted in one corner of the snug, so even if you're in there you won't notice the rugby... AC1964
Thanks. Not so much that I want to avoid watching the rugby (although it?s lost on me; Mornington Crescent with a funny shaped ball to those like me who don?t get the rules :-) ), more just don?t want to cram into somewhere so rammed we can?t hear ourselves talk. The Dog might well be a good option?
