Hello!

If you have any old mobile phones, broken fine but must have batteries, please pm me and I can pick them up or if you're on Facebook join the group and the address is on there!


I'm collecting to help a girl who I used to go to school with- she has two young sons, both with special needs- one severely Autistic who is non verbal. They are collecting phones to exchange for an iPad to hopefully help his communication skills. She is a fantastic mum and deserves all the help she can get.       Thankfully, it seems that yesterday's "Red vs Blue" school wars thing has turned out to be a hoax/ nonsense/ whatever. (See link below if you managed to avoid this stuff). In years to come, we might found out who - or which countries - has an interest in testing what happens when you post socially disruptive content online about fake events... In the meantime, thank you to our local teachers and other school workers, police community support officers and police officers. My commute happens to take me past a bunch of schools at dropoff/pickup times, and I noticed a much greater and more visible presence on streets outside/near schools than normal.
