Hi,

Last September I started to teach a small group of 8 year olds to knit which has been a great success - the girls are still with me and come religiously once a week for an hour's lesson. It's been brilliant to see their lovely creations grow week by week. I would really love to expose more children to this amazing craft every week. I have been very fortunate to have been offered a work space at Captured on the Rye (thank you Lorraine) on Mondays from 4-5pm and if anyone has any ideas/suggestions of how to bring a small group together on a regular basis I would be grateful. Let's bring this wonderful craft back into the limelight!

Thanks for any suggestions and ideas in advance.

My youngest student is a boy of 6 who knits every week. The size of the group of children depends on their age. Obviously the younger the smaller the group. Bear in mind the child must really want to learn and not because you want them to.

And yes I would be happy to come and teach from your home. I look forward to hearing from you.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
