Dog Dirt

Dodged about 5 piles of dog dirt today whilst on a walk in ED!

It's really foul, please clean up after your pets!!

Agreed - I kick them into the gutter if they?re of a certain texture, but there?s nothing you can do other than accept some dog owners are dirty, selfish oafs.

Yep. Absolutely loads of it. Horrible. Council had painted the ?pick up your dog mess? stencils on pavements near me but not made blind bit of difference.

I agree that it's horrible and getting worse but on the lighter side I suspect dogs can't read and the stencils are useless to them 😉

Some very selfish dog owners round here and there are no street sweepers anymore who might have cleaned up after these idiots.

I did that once when there were 50 dog turds in a 40m stretch of road (I don't usually count dog turds but I couldn't believe the number myself!)and they came round same day with one of those doggy do vacuum machines and cleared it all away. Brilliant!

Dog poo is disgusting and a health hazard. Most people are well trained to pick up after their dogs, and some go the extra mile in picking up obvious stuff just because it?s the right thing to do. A bit like some cyclists breaking red lights, some drivers breaking the speed limit etc etc Unfortunately a minority give the rest of us a bad name.

I always pick up after my dog .

What ibusually do is carry a bottle of water aswell once picked up or he pees I pour water over the area . Theres no deterrent to make people clean up after their dogs.

I pick up my dogs poo.........I have also been known to run home and boil a kettle if particularly soft!!

If I see someone not picking up poo, I just politely ask them if they would like a poo bag!

There is so much on Oakhurst Grove it is horrendous. Some parts of the pavement are literally covered in crap from where someone has trodden in it. The stains stay for ages and there always seem to be a fresh "deposit"
