I think cuttings from substantial plants in a park, taken from a non-obvious place, is fair enough and totally different to brazenly helping yourself to someone's front garden plants. This is outrageous. -
I have also used Dave Godden to repair cracked brickwork in my terraced house, quite bad cracks appeared on an internal wall 7 years ago and the repair he recommended and carried out has worked perfectly. I found this thread now because I'm looking for a surveyor to work out where damp is coming from in the back of ours house and it sounds like a maintenance surveyor is what we need - @Pam50 would you recommend the surveyor you used please?

I used to know a lady, in her 70s, very respectable. had a beautiful garden and loved to garden, was always taking cuttings from public parks. She was careful not to do it when other people were around and a friend acted as look out. -
Well, for that very reason, I think people who tend to like gardening and cultivating plants tend not to do it
