Just to update this. After getting a plasterer in, I then used Dom (07888654675) to cut and fit the skirting board. He also made me some alcove shelves in the kitchen and trimmed a couple of doors as well as a few other fixes.

I'm very happy with the result. He did a long day here & gave loads of useful advice too. Also was able to pick up all the wood himself as I don't drive. So can definitely recommend if you are looking for a joiner.
