STOCKROOM ASSISTANT - FULL-TIME POSITION - The DULWICH TRADER (SE21 8DE)


We are looking for a confident, organised, hardworking Stockroom Assistant to join the team at the Dulwich Trader. You will need a flexible approach and be able to turn your hand to a variety of jobs daily.

Job Title: Stock Room Assistant


Primary Location: Parkhall Business Centre, West Dulwich, London, SE21 8DE


Hours: 5 days per week 9.00am ? 5.30pm Monday to Friday and any reasonable further hours as needed.


Salary: On application and depending on experience


Start Date: May/June 2022

Main Responsibilities

? Processing stock deliveries efficiently

? Keeping the stock room organised, methodical and tidy

? Thorough knowledge of stock location and levels

? Assisting the store and web team with any queries and duties

? Ideally able to drive stock between our 3 Dulwich stores in our van


Essential Requirements

? Workplace experience with references

? Proactive and organised approach to work

? Flexibility & willingness to perform different tasks

? Appropriate level of fitness & strength

? Ability to understand written and verbal instructions

? Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new programmes

? Excellent teamworking attitude and ability to follow directions

? Full UK Driving Licence preferable

    • Luckily I don't really any regular reason to park at Dawson Heights.  It must be very difficult for the residents I do feel for them.  Thank you for them.  I just presumed that Southwark owned the estate and would be responsible for parking enforcement there. 
    • Have they had a bit of a 'falling out'?.
    • I've seen my cat many times walk straight past a fox, at less than half a metre separation. both animals ignored each other.
    • The young ones can bite car tyres around this time of year - I assume they do it for the thrill of the hiss or something like that.  We had a spate of damaged tyres and thought it was a disturbed person or at a stretch an environmental protestor taking it too far, but caught a fox on a house camera.
