You're missing his/my points here, Huguenot/ El Pibe

Loz is veering towards stuff discussed on previous threads. I took issue with his callous comments and have asked him to continue the Deanne privately to save the likes of yourself having to suffer it once again.

Originally, I pointed out a doc that might might have been of interest to a few on here, those who have discussed Hillsborough on threads before, hence choosing a new title/ thread so as not to regurgitate old discussions.

For your info, I'm not aware of all the umbrella threads on here, as I reckon aren't many other posters.

She was out of touch with the vast majority of decent football fans, and by the sound of it so are you.

I really have no idea what this means. What are you on about, Atticus?

Loz, pls excuse my poor spelling and grammar, all written in haste. Deanne was a spellcheck replacement for a word I reckon was meant to be something like 'matter'.

I invited you to PM me if you wanted to discuss the issue further, not the other way round, the offer still stands.

Loz, hope you and your likes now have a little more understanding as to what happened on the day,

    • Who was Diana Rayworth, when 'resting from acting'. Her successful career was very sadly cut short following a devastating accident.
    • thanks Jenijenjen and all - yes, i remember walking or taking the bus from the elephant (where i was working) to Camberwell to get there.  I think Tim - who's still at Franklin's -  was there in those days, and the woman who ran the cafe!  Other food places that i remember fondly are the ones in Neal's Yard (with the Hunkin sculpture that you could put a coin in ) and the basement lunch place at the Tottenham Court Road junction with Hanway Street...
    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
