I am just jumping back onto the EDF - after god knows how long - to say thanks to the kind parents and also the thoughtful children in Peckham Rye playground on Saturday. My daughter fell off a rope and unceremoniously face-planted. Thanks to the woman who called the ambulance, the dad who kept her talking, the various people who helped to give us space, and the kids who fetched ice and water.

(The ambulance took her into A&E.. her nose is broken but only minor and she'll be fine)

Hello stranger!

Good to hear your daughter's going to be ok Jeremy.

Did you know that the forum is closing down in July?

If you keep in touch with any of the 'old skool gang', perhaps let them know, and that there's a thread in the About section where people have been leaving their thanks to Mark and his team...

Hey. Thanks for the kind words. Yeah I am indeed in touch with a couple of old regulars (one of which is indeed slightly fishy), they know about the closure... Mark has been an absolute legend over the years... but nothing lasts forever.

A bientot...

    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
    • Wholeheartedly recommend Aria. He was polite, responsive and sorted our leak, from an old tap on an old plumbing system, with no bother and on same day.
    • GP not willing to refer you on? Say, to King's or similar. Odd
