Nanny available from September

Recommended Posts

Hello families,

My name is Jess and I am an Ofsted registered nanny looking for my next role from September 2022, when the youngest in my current role starts school. I will have been with them for 6 years, and would love to find a great family for another long term position. I am looking for a full time position of 4/5 days.

Over the last 9 years I have worked with multiple families and have experience with newborns to children aged 8, nanny shares, new sibling additions, and special needs experience.

As a nanny I am caring, patient, reliable, engaging and creative. Over the years I have refined my nanny style to reflect the skills and knowledge I have learnt through experience, professional development courses, parenting courses and my studies in psychology and child development. Ensuring the children in my care feel safe, supported, happy and loved is a priority, which I achieve with a nanny style that largely reflects gentle/attachment/responsive parenting styles. I love being a part of their formative years, and helping them grow into fun, kind, resilient, independent, caring little people!

I believe play is key to development, and foster this through arranging daily fun activities. Getting out and about is always part of our day, exploring parks, farms, museums, going to playgroups or singing classes, meeting up with friends for picnics or day trips or having play dates. Having fun at home is also important, reading books, imaginative play, cooking and baking, the odd dance party and I love setting up an interesting or themed tuff tray for some good messy play!

If you are looking for a nanny from September/October, I would love to talk with you!

Jess.

    • I met them when they ran the Morpeth near Tate Britain, before they retired, and they moaned about running the Woodhouse.  I don't recall them being grumpy when at the Woodhouse (apart from their mixed attitude to families), just not particularly helpful*.  They'd get many more punters in on a lovely hot day but put no extra staff on, I could say more but I'd be getting too personal.  Did love the place irrespective of them.  I used to love the Clock in the old days, and the Buck in Petty France and the  Royal Oak near Strutton Ground and the Morpeth.  Common denominator is that they are all very different to when the Brewery was running and they were part of the Youngs estate.
    • Went back to Maria’s this evening and had a lovely meal. As good as ever!    Although she’s well and truly back, it’s obviously been a costly experience so do get down there and support her.
    • It was through binoculars though!
    • Ty has been reunited with owner.
