June Hypnobirthing Course: In-person weekend

Recommended Posts

Hello,

For any local mums/dads to be interested in hypnobirthing, there are a couple of spaces left for our upcoming in-person group class, on the weekend of 11th and 12th June.

Please join us to learn the wonderful tools and techniques of hypnobirthing in a warm and welcoming environment. You'll discover how to:

- Cultivate self-belief, letting go of anxieties around birth and feeling more confident

- Help your mind and body work together for labour

- Work as a brilliant team with your partner

- Relax on command, to feel calmer and to sleep better

- Develop a mindset of kindness and compassion

The course is an invitation to fully connect with yourself and your instincts, with your partner and with your baby. It's also a lovely time to meet with other local parents-to-be.

I have 8 years experience teaching first, second and third time parents-to-be. I?m always delighted to hear the ways couples I?ve taught use the tools and techniques to help with pregnancy and parenthood, as well as birth itself.

I trained with Katherine Graves (KG) herself, the originator of the UK based course accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. I draw on my own two birth experiences (one was induced and ended in a caesarean, one was at home) along with my training with KG, as a doula and as an advanced NLP coach to help couples prepare positively for birth and parenthood, in all sorts of circumstances.

Courses start with where you are now, and end with you feeling relaxed, positive and looking forward to giving birth.

Please do get in touch with me if you'd like to find out more and/or book directly here; www.hypnobirthingplace.co.uk

It?s always helpful to hear what other people think of a course. You?ll find testimonials and birth stories on my website and reviews on google maps too.

Warmest wishes,

Zoe x

    • Yes, that compromise is in not extending the event to two weekends, and keeping it to the one currently.  Yes, I am getting that too, but just go anyway. I intend to.  I will talk to FOPR, and see if there is any interest for a petition from those going to the consultation tm. We just need some volunteers to get together and do the leg work. I've done political party canvassing before, and so can organise a ward by ward schedule. I think it's fair to say that any goodwill some of us had towards working with Gala has gone with this proposed expansion. They are not the same people that started the event with We Are the Fair. At least one of those people actually lived next to the park. The people running things now have no connection to the park or local area and quite frankly are taking the p*** now. Might be worth officially demanding to know where the money the council gets from the festival is actually spent as well.
    • It's a fantastic little place
    • Sadly we need young people from developing countries with higher birth rates to do the work that Brits wont do, including many jobs in health and social care.  How you square this with minimum wages to get work visas I don't know.  A different subject for another thread.   Shortage of skilled workers is another topic.  We could return to the fact that young people from Europe no longer come to the UK for a limited time, to do both skilled and unskilled jobs, but that would bring us back to Brexit and the crazy decision we made as a nation. Some nice analysis by Sky News, tend not to use them as a rule but was surprised by the quality of this piece: https://news.sky.com/story/how-many-illegal-migrants-are-in-britain-the-key-numbers-driving-the-immigration-debate-13428405
    • Would be good if they turned it into something that is social/community driven for housing - old and young mix together. Let’s face it, dearth of social anything relating to housing… if that.could  be combined with say, work area and gardening and cafe for all, everyone wins.. Dream on.. yea… certainly don’t need more large supermarkets, kitchen stores, Argos etc… Haven’t had time to look at plans…
