Hi, In case you haven't found a tutor for your daughter yet, please find some information about my tutoring practice.

I am proud to say that I had a 100% success rate this year and all my students who applied to JAGS secured a place.

Please do not hesitate to email me directly with any questions you might have.

Thank you, and with kind regards,

Caroline

"I am the parent of a child whom Caroline has recently tutored (in Maths). She has adeptly guided my daughter through the 11+ content required for some competitive local secondary schools, and taught her even more besides! Just as importantly, my daughter has loved her sessions with Caro and they have helped instill what I hope will be a lifelong love for Maths, in her! Caroline is awesome and I shall use her for my younger children, when the time comes!"

"If you?re looking for tuition for your child (for the 11 plus, entrance exams or to support primary school curriculum learning) we can recommend Caroline Perret who tutored our son. Caroline is filled with a love of learning herself and makes the sessions engaging and enjoyable while at the same time identifying the areas in which the child needs support. A recipe for stress-free success."

"Caroline is a kind, warm and inspiring tutor. My 10-year-old daughter always looked forward to her sessions with Caroline and she became very well prepared for her 11+ exams."

"We were very happy indeed with Caroline - Imogen and Bailey both got offers from all schools applied for, and Bailey has two academic scholarships and a third scholarship interview, so they have done wonderfully - thank you!"

"When tutoring my son Theo, Caroline was really committed and was brilliant for keeping him motivated. They had a really nice relationship. She has an amazing ability to make the lessons fun and was always coming up with inventive ways of teaching. I?ve just asked my son if he wanted to add anything and he says ?She knew me really well.?"

"I have known Caroline around four years and she has taught two of my four children. In terms of teaching content, I have found her to be a very well-prepared and diligent teacher, with creative ideas about how to engage the children, taking into account differing needs. She is very personable and popular with the children - they have always very much looked forward to seeing her. On the practical side, she is organised, punctual and communicative."

?Caroline has great expertise in guiding and preparing children for their 11+ and academic scholarships whilst ensuring that the process remains fun and stress-free. Our daughter was eventually offered an academic scholarship to the school of our choice and so we were delighted with the outcome and would recommend Caroline wholeheartedly.?

    • I would leave London, or at a push move back to north London. In SE London if you want to get away in a car you are trapped, always an hour to go the first 10 miles, chugging up to the M4 or round the south circular, which is really just a line someone drew connecting a load of roads. and I know there are trains but first you have to get to those mainline stations, unless you only want to leave London to go to Kent. which I don't.
    • It was you who  made it personal in the first place,  Jazzer. You said you didn't feel safe in the streets,  and you said you didn't go to Central London because you didn't feel safe there. So are you now saying that wasn't "personal"? "Fire from the hip." Another interesting choice of words 🙄 I'm not "demanding" anything! I asked you some perfectly reasonable questions in  response to your own statements. None of which you have answered. Never mind. It seems to be pointless having a discussion with you. It's long past my bedtime. I'm going to turn on my sleep app  and go to sleep 😴💤
    • Hi Forumites, This afternoon someone in a dark blue/black saloon car collided with my parked car on Thompson Road, SE22 9JR. I have a neighbour’s doorbell cam footage of the collision at 14:30 19/09/2025 but am unable to identify the registration plate. If anyone has footage of a car travelling down Thompson Road towards Crystal Palace Road at that time please PM me. Of course if the Perp would like to confess they can also PM me. Thankyou.
