Hi Dan

I'm Madeleine. I wonder if you could help - I have a dell laptop about 5 years old now...

It's taking an incredibly long time to open - once it's up and running it's fine - but a good half an hour to boot up!

It's got a lot of heavy programs on it and had extra memory installed about a year ago - it's running well just this opening issue...I wonder if it's gone and got a virus as things are now popping up.

My friend in Vienna gives it an 'mot' once a year when I'm there but our schedules don't line up this year - would you be able to take a look at it?
