Does anyone know if Ellie still heads up this practice? I've been going for years as she's an exceptional vet, but I'm hearing she may no longer be there? Has anyone got any information

I was in the waiting room in February and heard one of the receptionists telling somebody that Ellie had had to go abroad for a while.

Ellie has retired suddenly. I am gutted as she?s looked after my animals for over 30 years..

I registered with the practice a few years ago and to be honest I've not had a good experience with them. Ellie was there in the room when I had to have one of my animals put to sleep but she seemed very pre-occupied with other things (although very sympathetic and during the covid etc) and I was left to wait for ages in the waiting room. Then there were other after issues. Had to have another one of my animals put to sleep this March and that's when I heard one of the receptionists saying Ellie had to go abroad.

we had rather a bad experience there with our little dog when he needed emergency surgery. We have used the Neighbourhood Vet since then.

I've wondered too as I've used the practice for over a couple of decades.

Some of the staff have become a bit haughty imo.
