It's the most sensible move that Southwark have made in a long time. It will reduce the cost of tidying up after the fly tippers.

It never occurred to me that fly tippers would bother going to the recycling centre if they didn't have to book.

There?s always been flytippers, but the having to book/set a slot to turn-up thing would have caused some others to not bother and just fly-tip.

Any ideas how I get rid of a redundant decommissioned central heating radiator? My car is too small to fit it in it. Do any scrap merchants collect? Off topic I know..........

Anything metal usually gets picked up quickly by scrap metal pickers from outside the front of your house if you just leave it outside.

This - I put a cheap metal bathtub outside my house on dunstans road in 2011 and watched it being picked up 20 minutes later
